CORRIGENDUM

Corrigendum

Volume 96, September 2006

Robinson FR, Soetedjo R, Noto C. Distinct Short-Term and Long-Term Adaptation to Reduce Saccade Size In Monkey. J Neurophysiol 96: 1030–1041, 2006. First published May 3, 2006; doi:10.1152/jn.01151.2005; http://jn.physiology.org/cgi/content/full/96/3/1030.

The methodology section of the above-referenced article contains an inadvertent error. The last paragraph of METHODS states that both the study and all procedures were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). A recent review found that the University of Washington IACUC-approved protocol for this study omitted a statement that the eye coils implanted in the monkeys as part of the study might require repair. The repairs involved minor surgeries, which were not specifically approved by the IACUC at the time they were done. Request for approval of the repair surgeries was subsequently submitted to, and approved by, the IACUC.
