Pages 760-770: K. E. Hall, J. Liu, A.A.F. Sima, and J. W. Wiley, "Impaired Inhibitory G-Protein Function Contributes to Increased Calcium Currents in Rats With Diabetic Neuropathy." In the legend for Fig. 8, the fourth sentence "... with a significant (P < 0.01) leftward shift ..." should read "rightward," i.e. "... with a significant (P < 0.01) rightward shift ...". The corrected legend is presented below.


GTPase activity was measured using binding of GTPgamma [35S] in the presence of DAMGO as described in METHODS. Neurons from STZ-induced diabetic animals exhibited significantly lower DAMGO-stimulated binding compared with nondiabetic controls with a significant (P < 0.01) rightward shift in the binding affinity.
